Amazon GameLift launches updates to the console experience to now automatically apply your display preferences for tables, saved to your AWS user account, as well as fleet creation workflow to make it easier to find the right instance type based on your fleet location selections.
We are excited to launch two new features that improve usability of the Amazon GameLift console. First, the console now automatically saves your display preferences to your AWS user account and applies them whenever you return to the page. With display preferences, you can choose what information to include in a table, such as on the Fleets list page. Second, we have made it easier to find the right instance type for your fleets based on the selected fleet location while creating a managed fleet from the console. This eliminates one step in the create fleet workflow on the console and lets you see the availability of instance types when selecting remote locations for a multi-location fleet. The list of instance types is dynamically updated as you modify your location selections.
These new features for Amazon GameLift console are available in all Amazon GameLift supported AWS Regions and fleet locations, except China — this includes: US East (Ohio and N. Virginia), US West (N. California and Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Osaka, and Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Milan, Paris, and Stockholm), Middle East (Bahrain) and South America (São Paulo)
