AWS IoT Greengrass (V2) Scheduling Deployment of Components

Hello, How can I ensure minimal impact on service availability (AWS IoT Greengrass Core Device) while deploying new/updated components? Is there a way to schedule these activities (e.g., maintenance windows)? The Greengrass device is not connect to any client-device, it is the actual device used by users and it may have severe impact on users if it goes down unexpectedly. Thank you, Yossi

Deployments cannot be scheduled directly, but you can write any logic that you want to defer a deployment on a device until later. This is accomplished using the IPC API "DeferComponentUpdate".
