Cannot connect from Amplify to API Gateway

I am unable to connect my app to API Gateway. I checked the API address is setup correct in the callAPI function code. I tested from the API Gateway to Lambda function and it works. I seen there is issues with us-east-1 region. Can this be causing the issue?

Yes it can be.From health status region failure has resolved now. https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status
