redshift query editor v2 will not run any saved queries or notebooks - run button is deactivated after saving

Hello, Redshift query editor v2 has suddenly started not to run saved queries. When I select from a table and click run, the query runs. But as soon as the query is saved, the run button is deactivated. It will not run any saved queries or notebooks. What has happened to cause this? Before it was fine. The only thing I have done which could have triggered this behaviour is to copy some data from s3 into redshift tables using the copy command and the IAM role 'arn:aws:iam::123456789:role/service-role/AmazonRedshift-CommandsAccessRole-20230310T192112 which was required for the copy command to work. In my namespace settings (I'm using redshift serverless) this role is now shown as the default role under the security and encryption tab. I don't know if this was the case before as I never looked. Could it be this? I have full AdmistratorAccess on the account. Any pointers greatly appreciated. Obviously redshift is unworkable for me until I can solve this. Many thanks in advance
