Redshift (ds2.xlarge) issue

Question

We have a redshift cluster with ds2.xlarge nodes. We can NOT connect to it.

We tried to reboot it. The cluster is back with status as Available, but no Storage capacity used shown in the console. Looks the cluster is not up properly.

We tried to launch a new cluster with RSA3 nodes from the snapshot. However, it's said "You do not have access to node type ds2.xlarge.".

So we can't connect to the server, and can't launch a new cluster with its snapshot either.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi rc_admin,

Since dense storage ds2 instance type is deprecated, I recommend creating a support ticket or reaching out to the Technical Account Manager.
