Edit an uploaded CW Evidently event

I see the CloudWatch Evidently PutProjectEvents API returns an eventId attribute for each loaded event, but can't find any mention of inputting event IDs.

Is it possible to edit the data of a previously recorded event by providing eventId in the request? (Or some other way?)

This would be useful for updating an event if new information becomes available later, to prevent outdated, inaccurate information from skewing experiment results. For example, I believe this is possible today already in the Personalize PutEvents API?
