PORT 587 not opening in security group Why

Is that in or outbound?

I know aws restrict port 25 but may also block 587 https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/troubleshoot-smtp.html#

Amazon EC2 restricts port 25 by default. You can also connect to Amazon SES using ports 465 or 587, neither of which is restricted.

Please check the Secuirty group associated to EC2 instance and Nacl associated to the subnet.
