How to expose JMX port with AWS Copilot CLI ?

Question

How do I open JMX ports when using AWS Copilot CLI to configure ECS / Fargate tasks ?

For example, if I want to use port 5000 as a JMX port number, what configurations should I apply and where should I apply them so that the port is visible outside the container?

Possible locations are: dockerfile, docker compose file, Copilot CLI manifest.yaml.

Greetings for the day!!

You can expose the port in your Copilot CLI manifest.yml. You can set image.port [1] for your primary port and then you can use http.additional_rules [2] to expose additional ports.
