Do I need to create a distribution group to use ssl?

Hello,

I am using lightsail to run a wordpress instance. I have successfully migrated the site to lightsail from a different host. I have also successfully pointed a domain to the instance. Now, I want to add ssl (http to https) so I ran bitcert without creating a distribution group.

The bitcert process went through, but I noticed the site doesn't seem to be stable. Sometimes it will be secure and other times it won't be. At first, I thought that maybe the changes haven't propagated fully but I think it has something to do with not creating a distribution group. I'm not sure.

Therefore, in order to use SSL, do I need to set up a distribution group for every site I want to have SSL with lightsail? Or is there something else thatI'm missing?
