AWS Amplify -> Domain Management -> Error message: Invalid Public Domain

I am trying to attach a domain imagine.clic purchased from namecheap. However in AWS amplify it is giving error Error message: The domain provided is not a valid public domain. I connected namecheap domain provider support but as per them everything is good from thr end.
