Handling large number of small files on storage gateway

Question

vmwares frozen after transferring large numbers of small files, less than 100kb. The file transfer resumes after restarting of vmwares. What is the best way to implement the file gateway to handle this?

Hi, I don't have your gateway and complete issue details to make specific recommendations. In general, I would recommend looking into the file gateway metrics when you see the error. If there are any VM resource constraints, I would recommend adding additional hardware resources based on the metrics.
