Ameya, thanks for your question. Perhaps your jobs had already completed when looking at the Jobs list. If you select 'Any Status' for the Jobs of the Queue you are interested in, that will display all jobs associated with it, including those that have completed.
You will need to delete all Submitted and Processing jobs in a Queue before being able to change/delete a Queue. This reference may be useful for your Queue updates. Thanks Mike, I checked the jobs list for my queue with any status. All the jobs were either complete, error or cancelled. There is no option to delete the jobs. It's been days but I can still see same count in progressing jobs count. This looks like a bug on AWS console.
