2 RDS writable databases, in different regions, synchronized between each other.

Question

Hi, as it is written in a title, i need to have 2 databases, which ones will be located in different regions, they should be synchronized with each other. Both of them should be writable, and they should sync data back to each other.

Is there any AWS provided solution?

* This solution looks good --> https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/deploy-multi-region-amazon-aurora-applications-with-a-failover-blueprint/ , but is it possible to make both databases `masters` (make it `multi-master`)?

Aurora Global Databases are not active-active. They have primary in one region and up to 5 secondary read-only regions - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/AuroraUserGuide/aurora-global-database.html
