API Gateway HTTP Api as EventBridge Target

Is there any info on when will HTTP API be available as a target for EventBridge?

I have a use case where i want to forward events from EventBridge via API Gateway to a private ALB.

I am aware of the approach with REST API Gateway as a target -> VPC Link -> NLB . But for the use case I am having that solution would be the last resort

EventBridge does not have direct integration with HTTP API, but you can use API Destinations to point to any HTTP endpoint.

We do not discuss roadmap items here.
