Increase in Read latency after Hardware maintenance.

Hi,

There's already similar post reporting increase in latency after upgrade, and solution is to open an AWS support ticket, but:

Technical support is unavailable under the Basic Support plan

Do I need to pay for a support plan to inform AWS that there's something wrong with their upgrade... duhhhh!!!

More about the problem if somebody else have similar problem:

There was notification "RDS aurora hardware maintenance scheduled" after the maintenance apply during the maintenance window I noticed an increase by 2 fold in all the read latency metrics (including update and select) in ap-northeast-1 region. Other RDS servers in the same region are not affected (they did not restart) so the problem is not related to the region, but certainly to the last changes and should affect other customers that share the same hardware.

Is there some action to do on my side or I just need to wait that AWS notice and fix it?
