Can't see "Parameter Group" from the SQL instance.

Question

I'd create a new "Parameter Group" in AWS RDS, and I try to assign it to the SQLServer instance, but when I try to modify it, the new "Parameter Group" does not appear in the box to select it.

Please ensure the parameter group was

1. Created in the correct region
2. The Parameter group has to be setup for the correct Major Version Type. You cant use a PG setup for MYSQL 5.7 on a MYSQL 8 Instance

Hi, thanks for your answer.
I checked and:
  1. Both objects are in the same region.
  2.  The engine is in the version 15.00.43.16.3.v1 SQL Server Express Edition and the parameter group is for version 15 sqlserver-web-15.0.

I think based on your answer, the problem is for the differences of the version between the engine and parameter group.
