How to have a websocket connection to lambda in a green grass core

Yes you can use websocket inside a lambda. If your lambda is listening on a TCP port, the lambda has access to the port. If your lambda needs to bind to a socket file on the host, you can run lambda in "nocontainer" mode to set up proper file access permission.
