AWS Apprunner link custom domain with Route 53

I am trying to connect my .com domain hosted in Route 53 to my App Runner application in eu-central-1 using an alias record, but I am receiving the following error message:

"Missing required key 'HostedZoneId' in params.ChangeBatch.Changes[0].ResourceRecordSet.AliasTarget."

However, when I change the region of the App Runner application to us-east-1, I am able to successfully connect the domain to the application using an alias record. I need to keep my application in the eu-central-1 region and I am unable to connect it using the alias record.
