Hi,
You just have to create a pair (access key, secret key) for your user.
Please, follow the following guidance to do it: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-services-iam-create-creds.html
Best,
Didier

Hello,
You can assign Programmatic Access to newly created IAM User:
Steps:
- Go to IAM Console.
- Select IAM User to which you want to assign programmatic access.
- Select Security Credentials and Create Access Key.
- Select the Use Case.
- Retrieve the Access Key and Secret Access Key (Download CSV File)
Note: Please make sure to download the secret otherwise it will be lost and you have to recreate secret. "If you lose your secret access key, you must delete the access key and create a new one. For more details, see Resetting lost or forgotten passwords or access keys for AWS. You can have a maximum of two access keys per user."

Hello Didier,
Many thanks for your feedback.
I was able to create a pair without any --user-name - but when I try the command: ' aws iam create-access-key --user-name myname', I get an error message that myname cannot be found but I do have myname as a a user.
I do not understand the logic of the IAM Identity Center and this cripples my progress to overcome this issue
Many thanks for your attention.
Bien cordialement, Alexandre
