Hello.
I would like to recommend you share your feedback from "Feedback" at the bottom left of the management console screen instead of re:Post community.

I'm having this same issue. Its never done this in the past. When deploying a new EBS Environment I get to step three and click 'Enable Database'. The fields become available for a quick second then I see some red errors appear under each field, then the fields go gray again and I get the same message as you about the db.t2.micro instance not supporting mysql. Anyone figure this issue out?
Ok here is my work around. When creating the environment I just skip over the database section. Once the Environment has deployed go into the db configuration and the 'enable database' button isn't broken and you can choose your settings and apply.
