You mentioned that your website is hosted by Amazon Technologies, which could mean it's on AWS. To confirm this, you can check your domain registrar (where you bought your domain name) to see if the nameservers point to AWS. The nameservers typically look like ns-XXXX.awsdns-XX.org
.
To assist you better, I'll need more information:
- Could you please share your website's domain name and the technologies used to build it?
- Have you attempted to access your website using the IP address you mentioned? If so, what was the result?
Hello, Thank you for your help. Initially Yell / HIBU built the website and I had a company called 'greenstripemedia .com' started building a new site for me. I have sent emails and phoned them to enquire if they assigned the hosting but I can not get a response from them. Initially 34SP hosted the site, then LCN and then it was moved to Fasthosts. Fasthosts support sent me the following answer to my question if they are hosting the site below is their reply :-
Dear Roy
Upon checking on the DNS records of your domain roadeyeltd.co.uk, the website is pointing to the IP 35.172.94.1. This IP belongs to Amazon Technologies Inc and not with us. You will have to contact them to check the status of your website.
Thanks again for contacting us.
Best regards,
Desiree Fasthosts Customer Support
The website is www.roadeyeltd.co.uk I have tried contacting it and nothing happens
This is all the information I have and I hope you can help.
Kind regards
Roy

If you have access to the domain registrar where you bought your domain, you can easily point your domain to a new hosting server by updating the DNS settings. This involves changing the A record to the IP address of the new hosting server and updating the nameservers to those provided by your new host. With control over your domain's DNS settings, you can ensure that your website is hosted on a reliable server and accessible to your visitors.
Based on the message, your application is hosted on AWS, which means it is running within an AWS account. If you did not create this AWS account and do not have access to it, you will not be able to access your application. If a third party managed your application, they are the only ones who can restore your access to the application (website).
I was searching for the company Green Stripe Media, https://www.greenstripemedia.co.uk/, and https://www.greenstripemedia.co.uk/contact-us/. Did you try to contact them by their new website?
