Is the prometheus tier split across instances or for all prometheus ingest in the account? We are thinking about creating a separate instance for cost-tracking purposes, but if that would lower our ingest volume and potentially put is in the more expensive tier for that instance, I would prefer to just send everything to one instance.

Hello,

Assuming that by Prometheus instance you mean an AMP workspace, regarding this I would like to inform you that the cost is split by payer id by region not by workspace.

So it'll be your total samples ingested by payer_email that applies to the tiers per region.

    Thanks! Yes, I mean a AMP workspace. The "payer id" is the amazon account ID, correct?
