Warning: The domain 'aws-smith.net' does not resolve????

Question

I am trying to add SSL to Lightsail Wordpress Instance, I have created the name in Route 53 and if I goto a browser my site is showing but I am getting the following messages trying to create the cert for SSL

: The domain 'aws-smith.net' does not resolve, please fix its DNS entries 
or remove it.
Press [Enter] to continue:

Can someone please help me with this

Hi,

Thanks for using Lightsail. Since you are using Route 53 for your domain, you should see this domain in Lightsail also. Unless you require advanced Route 53 features, managing your domain and DNS zone (Hosted zone) in Lightsail may be simpler.

The error states that its not able to resolve the IP.

Did you put any geo restriction when you created A record of aws-smith.net in route53 hosted zone? if yes, try to remove that restriction and check again.

Its resolvable in some part of the world not globally.

Hello,

I have the same problem with my website [https://moleerelaxmusic.com/ ](https://moleerelaxmusic.com/) even though I added DNS records correctly. So I used the following command in the Bitnami SSH console. It worked.

```
sudo /opt/bitnami/bncert-tool --perform_public_ip_validation 0 --perform_dns_validation 0
```
