Wickr aws app problem.

I downloaded the Wickr AWS app, verified my account, and despite having a basic package, I am identified as a guest user in the app.

I am unable to add a user to use the messenger. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Any help would be appreciated

What you will need to do is setup an AWS Wickr network which can be done by logging into the AWS Wickr admin console, once you create an account then setup your network you will be able to invite users to your network by sending them an email invitation.

You will need to setup your AWS Wickr network using a different email address from the one you want to use to log into the application. Your admin account that will be used on the AWS admin console can not be used for messaging. This means the first user you invite to your new network once you set it up, should be the email address you want to log into the AWS Wickr app.

An extra thing to remember, when you are logged into the AWS Wickr admin console before you create your network just double check you are logged into the correct region as I made this mistake when I setup my first network and couldn't get the app working properly. When In the admin console you can access what region your in by selecting the drop down list from MENU at the top of the screen.

To upgrade from a guest account to a paid user account with full capabilities, the network administrator or you can purchase a Wickr license. This provides ability to add users, create groups etc.

Alternatively, as an individual you can create your own Wickr network/organization and purchase a license to have full administration controls over your network.
