Querying Athena Iceberg Tables Cross Account

We have Iceberg tables created in Account A, and a cross account glue catalog in Account B, permissions look correct, however when we try and query the tables from account B (queries work fine in Account A) we get:

HIVE_METASTORE_ERROR: Table storage descriptor is missing SerDe info

Has anyone else had luck here?

Athena doesn't support cross account iceberg table querying as this feature is not yet available. You can query non-iceberg cross-account tables though.
