Unable to create a CloudFront distribution

I was able to create one successfully before, a few years back that is. Now when I try to create another instance again for a static website I'm hosting in S3 for which I want to configure SSL certificates, after filling in all the details in the form when I click 'Create Distribution', the following error is displayed:

Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources. To verify your account, please contact AWS Support (https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/) and include this error message.
