AWS Devops Agent Credit

0

Last month I had a DevOps Agent Enterprise Support Credit $5709 in my Organization account and it was expired on 31st July 2026 and we did not use it anymore and not previouly use the service.

Now I want to use the AWS Devops agent service so can I get the credit automatically in the August month or need to take any action on it to get credit again?

Our last month, AllCloud Discounted Support charges was $17,590. Previouly it name was AWS Enterprise Support.

Note: we are taking support from AllCloud.io company.

Based on your AWS Enterprise Support plan, you will automatically receive new AWS DevOps Agent credits in August without needing to take any action. The credit system works on a monthly cycle where credits are calculated as a percentage of the previous month's AWS Support charges and are automatically issued by the 10th day of each month.

Since you're on Enterprise Support, you receive a 75% credit based on your prior month's support spend. With your July support charges of $17,590, you should expect approximately $13,192 in AWS DevOps Agent credits to be automatically applied to your account by August 10th.

Important points to understand about the credit lifecycle: Credits are issued monthly based on the previous month's support charges, they apply only to AWS DevOps Agent usage within that month, and they expire at the end of each month if unused. Credits also cannot exceed your actual AWS DevOps Agent usage for the month. For example, if you only use $5,000 of AWS DevOps Agent services but have $13,192 in credits available, only $5,000 in credits will be applied and the remainder will expire.

You can monitor your current credit allotment and usage in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console. The credits will automatically offset your AWS DevOps Agent charges as part of your support plan investment, so there's no separate activation required.

Hi, thanks for the detailed question — let me clarify how AWS DevOps Agent credits work and what applies in your case.

How the credits work

DevOps Agent credits are issued monthly based on your prior month's AWS Support charge, at a rate tied to your Support plan — 75% for Enterprise Support (100% for Unified Operations, 30% for Business Support+). Per the DevOps Agent pricing page (https://aws.amazon.com/devops-agent/pricing/), credits are "issued by the 10th of each month, apply to charges within that month, and expire at month-end if unused."

A few important characteristics:

  • They're capped at your actual DevOps Agent usage. The credit amount is a ceiling, not a lump sum deposited to your account. If you're issued (for example) ~$13,000 in credits but only use $2,000 of DevOps Agent that month, only $2,000 is applied and the rest expires.
  • They don't roll over. This is why your July credit expired on July 31 — it lapsed because the service wasn't used that month. That's the normal monthly cycle, not something that needs fixing. A fresh credit is calculated for August independently.
  • You need to actually use the service. Credits only offset real DevOps Agent usage. Since you haven't used DevOps Agent yet, no credit will apply until you enable it and start running tasks.

Important for your setup — you're supported through AllCloud (a partner)

Because your support is delivered through AllCloud rather than a direct AWS Support plan, how credits reach you depends on the partner support model:

  • Under AWS Resold Support, credits mirror direct customers — same 75% Enterprise Support rate, same automatic monthly cycle.
  • Under AWS Partner-Led Support (MSP/Reseller), the pricing page notes partners "may be eligible to receive monthly DevOps Agent usage credits" and advises contacting your Partner Solutions Architect or Technical Account Manager for eligibility details.

So I'd recommend confirming with AllCloud whether the DevOps Agent credit flows automatically to your organization account or is handled at the partner level. I wouldn't assume a specific dollar amount lands automatically until that's confirmed.

Also worth using — the free trial

Since you've never used DevOps Agent, you qualify for a 2-month free trial starting with your first operational task.

Each trial month includes up to 10 agent spaces, 20 hours of investigations, 15 hours of evaluations, and 20 hours of on-demand SRE tasks — with standard pay-as-you-go pricing beyond those limits. That's a good way to start before credits come into play.

In short: the July credit expiring is expected behavior; a new August credit is calculated from your prior-month support charge but only applies against actual usage; and because you're on AllCloud partner support, please confirm the credit pass-through with AllCloud or your account team. To get value, enable DevOps Agent and begin using it (the free trial helps here).

You can track any issued credits and usage in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.

Hope this helps!
