Cisco ASR1001-X routers for Customer Gateway

Hi,

First post, looking to install Cisco ASR 1001 -X routers for the On-Prem Customer Gateway, is there downloadable configuration files and/or guidance for this model?

I have just signed up for the AWS Free Tier, unsure if needed for the these downloads?

After you create the Site-to-Site VPN connection, you can download a sample configuration file to use for configuring the customer gateway device.

I checked and do see Cisco ASR-1000 customer gateway device configuration available under the 'Download configuration' section in Site-to-Site VPN connections tab.

Please note the configurations provided are samples only, and will need modification to use Advanced Algorithms, Certificates, and/or IPv6.

    Hi thanks for the quick response.

    Do I need to create a VPN connection to be able to download the Cisco ASR 1001-x configuration?

    I have created a personal account i.e. AWS Free Tier. just curious was this needed?

    Yes, you will need to create VPN then the download option will become available.
