You can designate a specific email address to receive account-related correspondence by adding that email address as an alternate contact in your AWS account. For instructions, see [Update the alternate contacts for your AWS account](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/accounts/latest/reference/manage-acct-update-contact-alternate.html).

The available alternate contact types are Billing, Operations, and Security. Each email address added to the account receives correspondence only related to their contact type. For example, a Billing alternate contact receives notifications of finalized AWS bills.
