Resolution
AWS Activate offers two packages: the Founders package and the Portfolio package.
- The AWS Activate Founders package is available for startups that aren't associated with an AWS Activate Provider. The AWS Activate Providers include select venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, and other startup-enabling organizations. For more information on how to qualify for the AWS Founders package, see Getting Started with AWS Activate.
- The AWS Activate Portfolio package is available to startups that are associated with an AWS Activate Provider. For a non-exhaustive list of AWS Activate Providers, see AWS Activate Providers. You can contact your AWS Activate Provider for more information on how to qualify for the AWS Activate Portfolio package.

Designed for self-funded startups not affiliated with an AWS Activate Provider.
Eligibility:
- New to AWS Activate
- Active AWS account and company website
- Privately held startup under 10 years old
Benefits:
- Up to $1,000 in AWS credits
- $350 in Developer Support credits
- Access to training, tools, and cost optimization resources
How to apply:
Go to the AWS Activate Founders page, sign in with your AWS account, complete the form, and submit.
AWS Activate Portfolio Package
For startups affiliated with an AWS Activate Provider (VC, accelerator, incubator, etc.).
Eligibility:
- Backed or supported by a recognized AWS Provider
- Provider’s organization ID required for application
Benefits:
- $5,000–$100,000 in AWS credits
- 1 year of AWS Business Support
- Access to expert guidance and startup resources
How to apply:
Request your provider’s organization ID, then apply on the AWS Activate Portfolio page.
If you’re an agency or consultancy, consider joining the AWS Partner Network (APN) instead.
