How do I create a WorkSpaces Applications image and deploy it to my fleet?

Resolution

To create a WorkSpaces Applications image and deploy the image to your fleet, follow these steps:

1. Open the WorkSpaces Applications console.

2. Launch an image builder.

3. Create a custom image.

4. Launch a fleet. For Choose an Image, choose your custom image.

5. Create a stack. From the Create Stack wizard, for Fleet, select your new fleet.

6. Create a user, and then assign the user to a stack. You can provide access to users through the WorkSpaces Applications user pool, SAML 2.0, or the WorkSpaces Applications 2.0 API. For more information, see User Pool Administration and Amazon WorkSpaces Applications Integration with SAML 2.0.

   Note: If you use a fleet that is joined to an Active Directory domain, you must use SAML.
