How do I create a WorkSpaces Applications image and deploy it to my fleet?

Resolution

To create a WorkSpaces Applications image and deploy the image to your fleet, complete the following steps:

1. Open the WorkSpaces Applications console.

2. Launch an image builder.

3. Create a custom image.

4. Launch a fleet. For Choose an Image, choose the custom image you created in the preceding step.

5. Create a stack. In the Create Stack wizard, for Fleet, select your new fleet.

6. Create a user, and then assign the user to a stack. You can provide access to users through the WorkSpaces Applications user pool, SAML 2.0, or the WorkSpaces Applications API. For more information, see User Pool Administration in Amazon WorkSpaces Applications and Amazon WorkSpaces Applications Integration with SAML 2.0.

   Note: If you join your fleet to an Active Directory domain, then you must use SAML.
