I want to change the billing information on the PDF version of the AWS invoice that I receive by email.

Resolution

Important: The invoicing tool doesn't recognize non-English or Latin characters. Make sure that you use English characters.

If the PDF invoice doesn't have the correct billing information, then you must update the billing information that's associated with your payment method.

To update your billing information, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Payment preferences.
  3. Under Default payment preferences, choose Edit.
  4. Update the information for your current payment method.
    Note: The name on the Billing Address appears in the ATTN: section of the invoice.
  5. Choose Save changes to save your changes.

Your updated billing information affects only future invoices. To get an updated PDF invoice for a particular billing period, update the billing information that's associated with your payment method.

Then, open a case with AWS Support. After you update your billing information, it takes 24 hours before AWS Support can update the address information.
