I reached the default quota of 20 response headers policies for my AWS account in Amazon CloudFront and want to increase the quota.
Resolution
To increase your CloudFront response headers policies quota, you must submit a quota increase request on the Service Quotas dashboard.
Note: It's a best practice to use managed response headers policies instead of custom response header policies. CloudFront creates and manages the response headers policy for you, and the default quota of 20 doesn't apply.
Submit a quota increase request
Complete the following steps:
- Open the Service Quotas dashboard.
- For Manage quotas, choose Amazon CloudFront.
- Choose View quotas.
- In the Service quotas search pane, enter response headers policies.
- Select Response headers policies, and then choose Request increase at account level.
- For Increase quota value, enter a quota value that's greater than 20, and then choose Request.
Add your CloudFront quota increase use case description to your request
Complete the following steps:
- Open the Service Quotas dashboard.
- In the navigation pane, choose Quota request history. A list of your quota requests appears.
- For Recent quota increase requests, under AWS Support Center case, choose your quota increase request.
- In Correspondence, choose Reply.
- In the ticket's comment thread, enter the description of your quota increase use case, and then choose Submit.
You receive a status update email from AWS Support that either approves or denies the request. To view a pending request, choose the Recent history tab on the service's details page, and then choose the status of the request.
