I receive an "Insufficient data" error when I forecast in Amazon Connect.
Resolution
When Amazon Connect doesn't have sufficient historical data to make accurate forecasts, you might receive the "Insufficient data" error. To troubleshoot this error, take the following actions.
Verify that you have at least 6 months of historical data
To generate accurate forecasts in Amazon Connect, you must have at least 6 months of data. To address this issue, import more historical data. It's a best practice to have at least 12 months of recent contact data.
Important: If you import data into Amazon Connect, the imported data takes precedence over the Amazon Connect data.
Make sure that you have at least 2,000 contacts per month across your forecast groups
To successfully generate a forecast, Amazon Connect requires at least 2,000 monthly contacts across all forecast groups from the previous 6 months. To resolve this issue, make sure that you meet this requirement before you generate a forecast.
Verify that you have recent data
Amazon Connect checks the recent data across all queues across all forecast groups. To generate a forecast, you must have at least 1 data point from the previous 4 weeks.
If you don't meet this data requirement, then use artificial data to generate the forecast. Or, override a forecast and upload your own forecast.
