How do I increase the service quota of my Amazon EC2 resources?

I want to increase the service quota of my Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) resources.

Resolution

Note: If you receive errors when you run AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) commands, then see Troubleshooting errors for the AWS CLI. Also, make sure that you're using the most recent AWS CLI version.

To increase your Amazon EC2 service quota, use the Service Quotas console or the AWS CLI.

Important: You must submit separate quota increase requests for each AWS Region where you require additional resources. Amazon EC2 service quotas are Region specific.

To make sure that you have enough resources to support your usage requirements, it's a best practice to monitor and manage your service quotas. AWS reviews all requests for Amazon EC2 service quota increases. When AWS processes your request, you receive an email notification.
