How do I check if my Amazon EC2 Reserved Instances are fully utilized?
I purchased some Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) Reserved Instances (RIs), and I want to make sure I get the maximum benefit from them.
Resolution
To see the utilization of your Amazon EC2 RIs, open the Billing and Cost Management console. Then under Reservations, select Utilization Report.
Select Save to report library to save the report to the Cost Explorer Saved Reports pane.
You can also use Cost Explorer reports or Amazon EC2 usage reports to understand more about the utilization of your Reserved Instances.
