I have an Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) file system type that's Regional, and I want to convert it to One Zone.
Resolution
Use a Regional file system for workloads that require high levels of durability and availability. However, if your on-premises data don't require Regional file system resilience, then convert your file system to One Zone.
You can use a One Zone file system for workloads such as development, build, and staging environments. You can also use One Zone file systems for analytics, simulation, media transcoding, and backups.
For more information about the difference between Regional and One Zone, see EFS file system types.
