AWS finalizes your monthly AWS bill at the start of the new month. After AWS finalizes the bill, you are charged to your [default payment method,](https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/change-default-payment-method) typically between the first and fifth day of the month.

**Note:** The billing cycle is based in the UTC (+00:00) time zone.

If you use the [AWS Cost and Usage Report](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cur/latest/userguide/what-is-cur.html), then check the **bill/InvoiceID** column. After AWS finalizes your bill, then the bill appears in the AWS Cost and Usage Report.
