I can’t complete the one-time passcode (OTP) when signing in to my existing AWS account.

Resolve issues with your browser

If your browser prevents you from logging in, then complete the following steps:

Troubleshoot OTP delivery issues

If you have difficulties receiving the OTP, complete the following steps:

  • Wait for up to five minutes for the code to arrive.
  • Check your spam folder to make sure that the code isn't incorrectly flagged.
  • If you exceeded the maximum number of attempts, wait an additional 15 minutes before trying to sign in again.

Contact AWS Support

If these methods didn't resolve the issue and you still can't access your account, follow these steps to contact AWS Support:

  1. Fill out the Amazon Web Services Support form to contact AWS Support.
  2. Provide detailed information about the issue that you're facing, including any error messages that you get during the sign-in process.
  3. After you submit the form, AWS Support helps you to resolve the issue.
