What are the best practices for using multiple Network Load Balancers with an endpoint service?
I want to use multiple Network Load Balancers with an endpoint service.
Resolution
When you associate multiple Network Load Balancers with an endpoint service, the endpoint interface connects to only one Network Load Balancer per Availability Zone. To make sure that all endpoint consumers have a consistent service experience, use the same configuration across your Network Load Balancers.
It's a best practice to identically configure the following items for each of your Network Load Balancers:
- Listener port and protocol
- Target groups and targets
- The application that runs on the target instances

What is the login behind choosing the same AZ for setting up the connection? Is it to avoid cross AZ data transfer cost? What happens when Service Provider has NLB in AZ A and Consumer wants to setup Endpoint in AZ B or C ? Is this possible to setup or not?
