If you receive a "Your directory needs a credential update" error when you launch a new WorkSpace, then your service account credentials are expired. To resolve this issue, [update the AD Connector service account](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/directoryservice/latest/admin-guide/ad_connector_update_creds.html).
