Hello, I have successfully made a payment using my Visa card, but it still shows as "Unverified" and I cannot set it as the default payment method.

Could you please manually verify this payment method or let me know the next steps to enable it as the default?

=============================================== visa 카드를 새로운 결제 수단으로 추가하고 결제도 이쪽으로 됐는데 기본 결제 정보로 변경은 안되고 있습니다. 다음달 결제시 기존 결제 정보로 등록된 카드로 결제 되었다가 실패하면 다시 수동으로 바꿔야하는게 불편할것 같은데요, 기존의 결제 정보를 삭제하고 이번에 새로 등록한 카드를 기본값으로 설정하고 싶습니다. 현재 화면에서 새 카드에 대해선 기본 결제 정보로 설정할 수 없게 비활성화 되어 문의 남깁니다.

If your Visa card is showing as "Unverified" and you cannot set it as the default payment method, you'll need to verify the card first. Here's how to resolve this issue:

  1. Open the AWS Billing and Cost Management console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/costmanagement/
  2. In the navigation pane, choose "Payment preferences"
  3. Find your unverified Visa card and click the "Verify" button next to it, then follow the prompts to complete verification

If you're still unable to verify the card after following these steps, you can try removing and re-adding the card:

  1. Select the unverified Visa card and choose "Delete"
  2. Choose "Add payment method" and enter your Visa card information again
  3. Follow the prompts to verify your card

Once your Visa card is verified, you can set it as the default payment method:

  1. Go back to the Payment preferences page
  2. Find your verified Visa card
  3. Choose "Set as default" next to it

Please note that you need to be logged in as the root user of the AWS account or have the necessary IAM permissions to make these changes. If you continue to experience issues, you may need to contact AWS Support directly for further assistance.
