Installing Sentinel One on ECS instance

This is more about Sentinel One than ECS.

You can check this GitHub repository which has different way to install the agent, including using AWS EC2 User Data and via SSM.

ECS runs containers. To install software it needs to be built into the container image. If you are building your own container images, add the step to your Dockerfile. If you are not building your own images, you would need to start. Create a Dockerfile that starts from the existing container image, adds Sentinel One and then publishes the resulting container image to a repository.

As from what you mentioned i.e., you want to know the guidelines to install Sentinel One on ECS Optimized Instance. Please correct me if I have misunderstood anything here.

As highlighted by colleague Henrique Santana above, I would like to mention i.e., Sentinel One is non-AWS maintained product and we don't have direct installation guidance to deploy that on ECS instance. However, it's always recommended you to look onto open-source solutions available such as [1] at lower environment and test it fully before use as you will adhere to open-source related risks at your own.

Additionally, I note a blog about ECS Anywhere (in case you're looking for this solution) from Sentinel One Team at [2]. However, to get proper guidance on this, I request you to reach to Sentinel One Team directly via GitHub [3].
