Getting ClientError: DHCP client not installed during VM import

I created a fresh AlmaLinux 8 VM on virtualbox and I converted it as an ova image that I uploaded into an S3 bucket for the purpose of doing a VM import. The problem is when I do an import via AWS cli, I get the following error after the VM conversion step:

ClientError: DHCP client not installed

I do know that a DHCP client is installed because I was testing the networking before I exported the image from virtualbox. Also, since AlmaLinux 8 is based on Centos 8 which is supported by AWS I thought the support will follow as well.

Anyone got this error before and have some tips on how to get it working? Thanks!
