EC2 access large file inside S3

I have a large file of about 1T located in s3 bucket. my app tries to run eg. "myapp.exe input s3://.../large.gz", I don't want to use "aws s3 cp" to download the 1T file to local EC2 due to storage limitation. What should I do?

You could mount s3 as nfs: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/storage/mounting-amazon-s3-to-an-amazon-ec2-instance-using-a-private-connection-to-s3-file-gateway/.

Otherwise you need to download file which may take a while
