Domain is propagating in some places and isn't propagating in others.

My domain for my website is texascounselor.net and is setup (I thought it was done correctly) but it only shows on some servers. I checked with a DNS Propogation tool and a alot of areas are missing it and a lot of services aren't recieving it (such as OpenDNS and Google). I need help figuring out why it is propagating in some places and not others.

The Domain originally was purchased on Google, and was transferred over to AWS Route 53.

Here is a screenshot of my NS

Might need to wait for TTLs to expire. See: You transferred DNS service to Amazon Route 53 in the last 48 hours, so DNS is still using your previous DNS service.

I queried your domain an got the R53 nameservers.

It looks like your NS servers are missing the '.' at the end of the address. Here is what mine looks like.

  • It was transferred back in May, but had a 60 day period where it couldn't be used, so wouldn't the TTLs likely be expired by now since it was transferred back in may?

If you don't put a `.' at the end of an FQDN, it's not recognized as an FQDN. If it is not an FQDN, then the nameserver will append $ORIGIN to the name.

I would definitely look to sort this out in Route 53, as it's definitely not correct as it stands and won't be doing you any favours.

It would also be an idea to consider lowering the TTL for the NS records until you get this working (currently 48 hours).
