We have tried a variety of profiles all with no success all based around EU868, specifying lora protocol 1.0.2 or 1.0.3, rxfreq2 8695250, rxfreq2, RegParamsRevision RP002-1.0.1, RegParamsRevision Regional Parameters v1.0.3rA
no filters on gateway.
We have set up a log in cloudwatch and have also used the network analyser. with the network analyser we get a join_request and join_accept, but then no data_uplink messages even thought the device is sending them. Other identical devices are sending through the same gateway. If you restart the device it then join and data will come through OK. It is random when this happens.
When gateway joins lns we get a CUPS request and gateway certificate exchanged.
Hi Bacchus. I don't know what's wrong, but it sounds like the device is maybe not transmitting on the right frequencies. Can you please elaborate on:
- what RF region you're using?
- what sub-bands or filters, if any, you defined in the gateway configuration in IoT Core?
Are you able to get:
- traces/logs of
Join RequestandJoin Accept, especiallyCFList(please use Network Analyzer) - traces/logs of device TX frequencies when uplinks are received and when they're not
- Basic Station logs of the

I think you need to establish whether the uplink is lost between device and gateway or between gateway and cloud.
I think you need to look into the logs that I mentioned. For example, when the device sends the missing uplink, does the gateway receive it? My guess is no, which is why I asked you to check what frequencies the device is sending on and what frequencies the gateway is listening on.
