If using SAM you can try a GitHub actions as explained here: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/compute/using-github-actions-to-deploy-serverless-applications/
If not, you would still need to hook it with e.g. CDK commands so that lambda gets built and then pushed to aws as part of Infrastructure as Code flow
