How do I use CloudWatch to monitor my WorkSpaces?

View your CloudWatch metrics

Use the CloudWatch automatic dashboard to monitor your WorkSpaces metrics. You can also create custom CloudWatch dashboards.

To manually view WorkSpaces metrics in CloudWatch, complete the following steps:

1. Open the CloudWatch console.
2. In the navigation pane, choose Metrics, and then choose All metrics.
3. To see available metrics for your WorkSpaces, under Browse, choose WorkSpaces.
4. To filter the data, use the WorkSpaces metrics dimensions.

Create a CloudWatch alarm

Create a CloudWatch alarm to monitor events, such as when a WorkSpace becomes unhealthy or when latency increases.

Monitor WorkSpaces events

You can also use Amazon EventBridge to monitor your WorkSpaces.
