Root Login Option in China Region

In the Beijing and Ningxia Regions, there is no concept of a root user. All users are IAM users, including the user who created the Amazon account.

All users, including the one who created the account, are Identity and Access Management (IAM) users. This is why you don't see the root login option in the AWS console for the China region​
